I know it is difficult to think or buy Easter in these uncertain times, so I made this list of items that you can find on Michaels, HEB or Amazon, they all offer delivery service. I must emphasize that I usually use the same basket every year, and we give something really simple but meaningful. Lemon Bar Recipe

This is the classic recipe for lemon bars, I made an alteration because I always find the lemon bars too sweet. I reduced the quantity of sugar but I wrote how much sugar you should add if you want them extra sweet. One of the things I love about lemon bars is how easy and few ingredients you need to make it (6 ingredients). So because of those facts I always make the bars with my daughter. Another amazing thing about this recipe, is that you don’t need a mixer, make the crust just using your hands like the old times, and the filling with a whisker.  This heirloom recipe…

    Lemon cookies Recipe

This lemon cookies recipe is full of flavor, refreshing and simply delicious. Crips lemon shortbread cookies covered and topped with lemon icing and peanuts.  When I was a little girl, on the first level of the building where we lived there was a bakery. I used to collected all the pennies under the sofas to buy these delicious cookies from the bakery. I tried to look everywhere for the recipe (well, to be honest, I google it ) and I could not find it. The closest one I could find was a Martha Stewart lemon pistachio wreaths.   After some tries, I think I finally got something similar, at least…

    Lavender garden in Guatemala

Jardines De Provenza Jardines de Provenza is a lavender garden in Guatemala, located in San Mateo Milpas Altas. For a long time I wanted to visit a lavender field. When I discovered that just a couple of minutes from Antigua Guatemala was a garden with lavender with a volcano in the background, I immediately added it to my summer vacations wish list. Is it worth it? I’m going to be honest, I thought that it was a huge lavender field, and it’s more like a garden with lots of lavender.  It’s beautiful because of the location, the volcano on the background and the aroma makes it so worthy! Would I…

    Free Easter egg hunt Printables

Easter is in less than two weeks, and I already begin to have a few things ready for egg hunting.  I designed this bunnies to decorate the backyard and to give Mia  signs of where  she should look for the eggs.  At the beginning I thought I wanted them to be raised from the grass with wooden stakes, but it was not really necessary they look really cute standing directly on the grass. To make them, just download my free  Easter egg hunt printable, print it on  heavy card stock and cut around. You can tape  bamboo skewers on the back, or you can glue them to presentation board  and…
